Job Title: SEO/SEM Account Manager
Reports to: Executive Services Manager
Job Purpose Summary: Company provides Search Engine Marketing (SEM) services geared to increase sales and conversions to b2c and b2b clients.
The SEO/SEM Account Manager is ultimately responsible for the successful delivery of these services, working with cross-functional, multi-project team resources to ensure services are delivered on-time according to defined scope and timeline, while building positive professional relationships with clients and associates.
The SEO/SEM Account Manager has responsibility for managing and growing the client relationship on one or more accounts under the direction of the Services Manager. The SEO/SEM Account Manager provides client and project team leadership, develops mid-senior level client relationships and is regarded by the client as a trusted advisor. The Account/Project Manager is responsible for client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Manage client and internal team to ensure all project deliverable deadlines are met.
- Facilitate all client requests and communications to the appropriate team member to ensure client’s voice and concerns are met.
- Provides leadership, support and ongoing guidance to members of the project team.
- Serves as the conduit and internal champion for client initiatives.
- Provides internal teams with appropriate insight into client's strategic business initiatives.
- Provide and promote high standards of professionalism, integrity and leadership throughout the life of projects, both within and outside the organization, appropriately representing company’s business philosophies, protocols and standards.
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
- Develop and maintain understanding of marketplace dynamics and key players.
- Proofread standard deliverable documents for errors and omissions.
- Ad hoc assignments related to the successful growth of the company.
Requirements:
- Three plus years experience in SEO agency environment.
- Strong knowledge of best practices relating to organic and paid search.
- A proven record of working on multiple time sensitive projects on schedule.
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing preferred but not required.
- Project Management certifications a plus.
- Ability to think strategically with an attention to details.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in all MS Office products.
- Well-organized and able to work independently.
