Heather Rhoades - Technical Services Manager
Heather Rhoades, like a lot of people in the internet marketing field, never intended to become an internet marketer – mostly because, when she went to school, there was no such thing as an internet marketer. Her degree is in Literary English.
Times change fast and Heather changed with them. She started her career working as a marketing assistant for a design firm located in Cleveland, OH. While at that design firm, Heather learned the basics of email marketing and, thus, embarked on a whole new career.
From there, Heather went to work for AmeriMark Direct, a direct marketing cataloger. Eventually, she became the manager of their online divisions. After that, she started her own online marketing consulting firm. She eventually came to work for The Search Guru because she was impressed with their attention to detail and their expertise.
Heather has now been in internet marketing for over 8 years. She has had experience managing the online marketing efforts of multi-million dollar direct marketing companies and small start-ups. She has managed and consulted on pay-per-click campaigns, email campaigns, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, usability and general online trends.
Heather is an AdWords Qualified professional, meaning that she has been certified by Google as being qualified to manage AdWords campaigns.
Heather is also an avid blogger. Her personal blog has been featured in national print and radio media, as well as being one of the highest ranked blogs in her niche according to technorati.com.
Although Heather never intended to become an internet marketer, she is glad that the opportunity presented itself and she enjoys her work immensely. She looks forward to bringing her expertise to the table to help your website compete on the highest levels of online marketing.
